This is NOT good-bye!

Well the boxes are all packed and ready for the movers.  Soon my best friend will be leaving on a new adventure.  Margrit is moving to Ohio to be closer to family. I can't blame her for wanting to be with her family but her sewing family here in Massachusetts will miss her so very much.

If you ever visited Sturbridge Quilting and Sewing Center then you've had the honor of meeting Margrit. Friends for more than 17 years she has always been a big part of my life.  Margit and I often relive the fun times when I first started my shop.  This wonderful lady has helped me put together sewing furniture for the shop, make samples and so much more. I could not have done it without her.

Margit was fast stitching friends with anyone she met in class.  She is quick to "calculate" borders, backings as well as giving design advice.  Most importantly she has been a part of all of our lives and many of our quilts. The stories are many and memories are as warm as her quilts.  Good luck with the move from all your stitching friends. We'll see you again at a sewcation sometime in the future.

Rose of Sharon Block Series

Rose of Sharon Block #1 was the first release in the series of Grab 'N Go Kits titled "Rose of Sharon Block Series".  Four kits made their debut at market in 2017.  They soon became some of my best selling kits available direct from Grab 'N Go Kits and from Nancy's Notions and Missouri Star Quilt Company.

I am excited to tell you about the new designs I am adding to the block series. Rose of Sharon Block Series continues with Blocks 5, 6 and 7.  New kits will start shipping in September.  The next group of blocks continues with the modern color and style with a new accent color, periwinkle.

Check back with me for a sneak peek at the new kits. Until then, keep stitching.
